Someone repeatedly stapled an 8 1/2 x 11 paper under the BW Parkway sign that read "Welcome to Baltimore" to add ", Hon" so many times I think DOT made a permanent version. (Edit: checked my recollection on street view--yes).

@jalefkowit Reminds me of 1980s era video arcade machines (I once met a guy who repaired them), where there was a looping display of game action, that was called "attract mode." Sound, colored lights, high score displays. Pseudo use. Put money in to play, or just earworm it.
