@atax1a@infosec.exchange @joe@f.duriansoftware.com @thalia@discuss.systems or at least that’s the source of the question, we might all be misreading the notation since both the first arguments are bracketed in the second case

@not2b@sfba.social @mcc@mastodon.social it looks to me like it’s probably actually the compiler that’s complaining not rustfmt?, and you can make it stop with #![allow(unused_parens)] at the root of your crate

@whitequark@social.treehouse.systems i can imagine a few cases where reformatting a code could change behavior (mostly related to language constructs that capture source locations) so I think I would be willing to accept as low as 99.99%

@whitequark@social.treehouse.systems I really love “not changing endl to \n” listed as a style issue when that changes buffer flushing behavior.

@pho4cexa@tiny.tilde.website I just checked on a hunch. By fandom tags: • Sonic the Hedgehog (Video Games): 11,396 • Sonic the Hedgehog - All Media Types: 47,180 • Baldur’s Gate (Video Games): 48,319

@ela@infosec.exchange I wrote a blog post years ago that shows all the intermediate steps of performing this optimization: https://blog.witchoflight.com/2018/llvm-hearts-peano-addition/

@aras@mastodon.gamedev.place I’m watching a whole discord channel of players reacting the same right now, not just you

Previously it was like “Apple Clang 17 is based on the Clang 19 release branch” because the version numbers matched the Xcode version number.

@whitequark@social.treehouse.systems hahaha I did not

@jrose@social.belkadan.com Xcode 26 released with just a minor bump on top of Clang 17, lately the major compiler releases haven’t coincided with the .0 Xcode releases.

@lanodan@queer.hacktivis.me @nick@donotsta.re @mcc@mastodon.social anyone can ask copilot for review in the GitHub UI and as I understand they still don’t offer a way to turn that off(?) so you can’t blame the project just for the presence in issues. You can blame the project for their policy and the things they choose to merge though.

@TheTomas @bagder for all that Microsoft is destroying GitHub, that particular graph is like that because they made the status reporting more honest, not because it was perfectly reliable before that

@samhenrigold this should be combined with the pressure sensor in the trackpad for the Theremin’s second degree of control so you can use *two* undocumented sensors.
