Canadians for Justice and Peace in the Middle East (CPJME) has a guide on NDP leadership candidates and Palestinian solidarity.
Rob Ashton apparently declined to complete the CJPME survey. I did not rank Ashton on my ballot.

While the costs are becoming a burden, moderation is the big problem.
I don't want to be a cop.
I use dialogue and conflict resolution skills as much as I can, but ultimately my role as a moderator on a Mastodon server leaves me responsible for suspending accounts.
I feel like this power dynamic compromises my efforts to support Palestinian allies develop their accounts by helping with the labour of creating content and generating media.
My friends @mittall@toot.community, @omarzeyada@freefree.ps, and @bilalmohammedzeyada@mastodon.social are reporting heavy bombing in Southern Gaza right now.
It sounds like Khan Younis in particular may be targeted.
My friend @nada_eid_88@mastodon.social also reports bombing in Northern Gaza, around Gaza City as well.
Stay safe my friends. :lovepalestine:
There is supposed to be a ceasefire.
Here is a short video of my friend @omarzeyada@freefree.ps from the other day when he and his family @bilalmohammedzeyada@mastodon.social and @bilal_mo@mas.to distributed bags of food to multiple families.
Omar is passionate about helping his family, and the Zeyadas are passionate about caring for their community.
Thank you Omar. :lovepalestine:
My friends the Zeyada brothers have links to fundraisers on their profiles. Please share.

@liaizon sure, I'm open to that. I offered this to some friends in Gaza but it's just too expensive for a lot of people.

Hello world! This is freefree.ps, a brand new space to promote Palestinian solidarity events and build community. I started this Mastodon server as an alternative to using Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other legacy social media that requires logged in accounts to view posts. Please help me fill this space with love, life, and resistance to oppression. #FreePalestine

I'm sorry Bilal, my brother, you are wrong about this.
I am still open to working together on alternatives to collecting donations, even after this Mastodon server winds down.
Just because Mastodon is federated does not mean that our community standards must permit spam.
