Don't worry too awful much.
The Earth will be completely fine and easily recover once we're gone.

Oh, I want no mistake made, here. I take full responsibility in not successfully ending the actions taken by the selfish, profit-seeking oil barons and politicians ruining our planet. As responsibility goes, we're set, but that really wasn't in question.
As for what to do now, I'd say do everything you can until you can't, optimisic or not, good outcome or not. Less pain is always better than some.

It's really good, I'm a out 1/4 of the way through. These sociopaths are unhinged.
They shouldn't manage a Denny's, much less a social media website.

Your pessimism is in your wrist as well as mine is. It isn't an argument, it's the ending we all chose, whether from inaction or lack of care or both.
All you can do is the best you can for the ones still here. Be glad it's that much.

Even easier, have their TV/Printer/toothbrush(at this point fml) connect to another in the vicinity that is connected.
If two people in an apartment have a Vizio TV and one is disconnected from the mesh... well, in this scenario, they both are, via the other.
...if one company were so evil and inclined, that is, hypothetically speaking.

Turns out the only thing the EU dislikes about US social media policy is that they don't own it themselves. They're just fine with spying if it's their eyes doing it.

Debian isn't an operating system. It's server firmware for IT geeks. You don't actually use your computer to do any real work. You just keep the system stable. It's the life mission now because the packages are too old to be relevant in 2026. You have to feed it 'flatpak this' and 'flatpak that' just to keep up with modern standards due to outdated repositories that conflict. It's cute, but some of us actually need to run modern python code or browse without checking a wiki first.
