It looks like Ukraine will win the war, and suddenly the MAGA Government takes sides with Ukraine. (remember you dont have the cards)
I hope Ukraine will never forget who really supported them and who were false friends all along. (they probably just want something)

So why do conservatives and facist like Star Trek, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, and else? It's weird, but there is an explanation.

I guess reading code is for suckers. At least the clean code guy said that.

That Elon Musk interview… wild. And then Laura Loomer in Ukraine discovering that Ukraine is in war, and Putin is killing innocent people.
It just shows how distorted the view across the sea is.
Lost an AirTag because the battery died some time ago and I can’t find it anymore. How ironic.
We ( @eugenpirogoff@chaos.social and I) are planing a new Meetup in Berlin. Somewhere around September. Topics all about Indie Development and all sorts of things around it.
Anyone interested or got ideas about a format? Maybe some talks? (Just throwing in things for some ideas).

One of the interactions I'm working on for Daft Music for iOS. You can blazingly search your local library, and Pull to Search makes it easy to trigger the search.

Who wants AI music? Mostly those looking to exploit streaming revenue that was meant for real artists. It’s that simple.

To power more of my apps I moved everything into my own UIKit Framework. Now powering this beautiful transition of the TabBar into a own screen.

Pretty annoying to see how the mobile app space (like all the rest) has mostly become a pay-to-win market. I know now from several people how their ad spending is linear with their revenue. Like spending 100k€ in Meta Ads to make 150k€ revenue.
Is it that simple? Just give Mark money and you will be successful?

If God did not want humans to have an abundance of energy, He would not have placed a massive fusion reactor in our sky. 🙏☀️
„Meta employees are up in arms over a mandatory program to train AI on their mouse movements and keystrokes“
Meta goes the extra mile to get rid of their employees and to replace them with AI.
„Safeguards“ probably means we do the lowest effort that is expected by law (or might break it and ask for forgiveness) which is already pretty low in the US.
It’s wild that they can just force this upon their employees.

Just read what happened at the CSD in Berlin. Shit.
Wild that Brazil introduced, with huge success, an alternative to Visa and MasterCard, and now Trump is going to sanction Brazil with a 25% tariff for it.
Free market, my ass. You can see how the soft power of the U.S. is slowly melting. The entitlement that Visa and MasterCard deserve 1% of every transaction is outrageous.
Is Trump Forcing Mastercard & Visa on Brazil?
Actually interesting to see from the Developer perspective how Valve extends SteamOS. They just removed the old IsRunningOnSteamDeck() API in favour of IsRunningOnSteamHardware(). It feels like they slowly come after The other big player and that they just play the long term and eventually will surprise their competitor.

Running some In App Events to highlight some Record Stores within Recordfy.

Sony is killing the Game Disc.
Remember Sony making fun of Xbox because its so easy to share a game disc.
Bye bye Sony. I'm out. Especially since they just prooved that they just delete things out of your digital library.
Wild how fast they turned after the competition went away.

(Newton, G4 Cube etc.). Was Google, Facebook so alles Beerdigen ist doch viel größer (Hallo Mark).

@phranck@oldbytes.space @johnvoorhees@mastodon.macstories.net @viticci@mastodon.macstories.net I'll check it out if I got the time. Right now I need to get this iOS app and not get tok distracted 😂

@henryhenderson@mastodon.social @fahrni@curmudgeon.cafe @carnage4life@mas.to And the next might be on its way. The U.S. has no AI regulation at all (unlike AI)
If those high-paying white-collar jobs get replaced by AI, all those people with high creditworthiness won’t be able to pay their mortgages and that could collapse the market again.
It also doesn’t help that the housing market is now three times the size it was in 2008.

In keine Richtung.

@fahrni@curmudgeon.cafe @carnage4life@mas.to There are 8 billion people on Earth and a minority made it possible to elect Trump and push the world toward chaos and death.
Nothing personal, but even if he’s voted out, we can’t base our future on a president who "might" like us.

@martind@mastodon.online @mattesmohr@mastodon.social its the same interaction like with Spotlight on the iOS Homescreen 😅

@fahrni@curmudgeon.cafe About the Feature Request, let me know, but I'm currently focusd on the iOS version.
Apple set the bar with the latest Apple Music version on iOS pretty high and I want to keep up.
“I got tired of xxx, so I made…“

@ricobeck@mastodon.social @finnvoorhees@mastodon.social Nice. How did you got the Game on the Gameboy?
SwiftUI on GBA, when?

@danielkasaj@iosdev.space I'm not sure why this is a SwiftUI issue. You can set the size / width of a Settings View. (or do I miss something?)
Based on this article, I cranked up Liquid Glass to max as well. Wish me luck. Luckily I'm already almost blind. No damage done.

@nicklockwood@mastodon.social I'm surprised that after all these years, it never leaked internals on how people work there.
I imagine some kind of Call Center like a sweatshop or something. Poor guys. Especially since people pump out apps automatically now.

Was würdest du Empfehlen heute als Router?
