I've noticed lately, especially over on reddit, a huge wave of negativity towards #linuxmint I swear at least some of it has to be some sort of psyop. In any case, most of it is FUD. As a side note, Arch users: it's great that you like Arch. But the evangelism and shitting on everything else is tiring. Touch grass. #Linux

Just finished my first full playthrough on my new #PCgaming setup. In earlier posts I've talked about how and why I've switched from #PS5 and am using #HeroicGamesLancher with games from #GOG. The game - the 2025 remake of #Amerzone The Explorer's Legacy - played without a hitch. Beautiful game, and I enjoyed it very much :) 🧡 🧡 🧡

Trimmed down my #retrogaming library today. I'm a player, not a collector, so there's no purpose in having lots of ROMs that I don't really care about; it's just distracting more than anything. I also cleaned up a lot of my #RetroArch settings and configs.

@TheLastOfHisName I do game on LMDE, but it's mostly retro and indies. I do find input delay to be quite good under Cinnamon, better than when I tested Gnome on Wayland. For example, with runahead enabled in RetroArch I really can't tell the difference from OG hardware.

@GabeMoralesVR The Linux version? Does the game actually run? I'm not talking about installing, I'm talking about the game actually working. edit: it needs 32 bit libraries, which I know are missing. Heroic doesn't bundle them and even if they were installed on my system, the flatpak sandbox wouldn't be able to see them. Lutris bundles them. Steam does too. Hence my annoyance.
