@maxleibman@beige.party He's proven that money doesn't buy love. Even functionally infinite money.
That's one gift to the world.
Hey fediverse, if we're mutuals and you're looking for a job let me know if you need an extra professional reference.
It's so hard to get hired anymore, don't let that stop you.
Just DM me and we can sort out the details of my contact information and your desired job history. Free of course, just try to be as close to honest as you can letting me know what you're good at.
They just send an email asking for some basic information, so it's not too difficult to provide and you're worth it.

@aesthr@wandering.shop I use excel daily, and I hate this "Feature".
I only want to modify the excel in the active screen, if it does anything else it's wrong.
This site has some options for work arounds, but the best one the registry edit can't be done on corporate machines.

@nattiepuff@chitter.xyz Hai hai. Sorry for being distant. You are still lovely, I'm just busy in a bad way.

@curiously @chartier You'd need a respirator that filters toxic gases, not just a filter mask for particles.
Get one rated for VOC and you'd have a good start.

@schrottkatze@social.treehouse.systems unitedpharmacies.md is still around and have been trustworthy in the past though selection is pretty limited, also Otokonoko is legit and extra nice, but I haven't actually been able to do any business with them. https://otkph.am/

The diver down flag which is really common in tourist or industrial areas isn't shown here, but it's very well known.

@fluffy check them out on the BBB most legit businesses have a record there and you can file complaints if needed. Also could look up their license or bond number if they have one. (They should if they are legit)
You could also call the city they are based in to make sure they have a business license to operate.
If anything comes up sus you could call the police if they harass you, but sometimes it's better to pay them off so they go away. It's your call.

@JellyTBeagle I remember when it was cool to connect to the Internet. And each thing connected was a cool win.
Now every device and trinket wants to connect and it's only for evil nefarious purposes.
Even the potential good side where your toaster or refrigerator could have an update fail and break itself permanently without you even knowing it's broken until you try and use it again.

@mdstevens0612@mas.to The old games keep going, but nobody makes money on them anymore.
They'd rather things not exist than exist and not make money on them.

Just as long as they aren't rude or pushy because then I'd be complaining to bbb and maybe their licensing agency.
