It's always slightly annoying to me when there's keyboards that can switch between bluetooth and a separate proprietary protocol, because they always run into the problem of what to name that separate option.

I compiled 1992's POV-Ray 1.0 using gcc version 13.3.0. I just needed to change the extern to static in txtmap.c, do some weird file moving, and delete out a non-functional matherr function in gcc.c/unix.c. Not a huge amount of work, and it works just fine.

I wonder if anyone has examined code reviewer performance with regard to perceived AI usage. like if you stick "co-authored by chat-gpt/claude" and some em-dashes in a merge request, do code reviewers miss more bugs because they're not reading as closely? or do they become more picky, complaining about things they wouldn't otherwise?

I have one dual-socket USB charger, two USB-C cables, and two phones. if I connect cable 1 to phone 1 and cable 2 to phone 2, only phone 1 charges. but if I connect cable 1 to phone 2, cable 2 to phone 1, both phones charge.

I know Mozilla is supposedly a non-profit and this is open-source software being developed by and for the community but I can smell Promotion-Seeking features. How do we make widgets? Is there even a plan for this to be expandable? or did you design a whole new browser feature only to toss five random-ass options in there?

actually I don't even understand what this code is doing foobar.c at the top has: extern void blah(int a, int b); and later around line 300 has static void blah(a, b) int a; int b; { // stuff here } why are you defining a function as extern, and then later defining it as static in the same compilation unit? GCC is naturally getting a little annoyed by this.

I don't have a mobile phone account with them, though. Still, I need to enter a card for the 0$

clearly I just need to tell it I want to know how to do it from the website! "remove TV plan from website" and there it goes, telling me how to do it from a set-top box

and if I tell their AI chatbot that I want to remove a TV plan, it gives me some step-by-step instructions on how to do that on a set-top box I don't have and have never used
