Why the hell is King Charles still planning a State visit to the US after trump's threats of genocide? And why was he even planning one at all for that matter?
His trip should have been canceled immediately after that horrifying post was sent out.
Got my partial one-tooth denture today to replace the tooth I had pulled in December. It looks good and feels OK so far. We'll see how it goes.
Car is in the shop until tomorrow morning to fix leaks from both the oil and transmission pans. Will be rather pricey but considering it's a 2012 and I've almost never had to do any repairs other than normal maintenance, that's a small cost per year.
Also have the cable co. coming tomorrow morning to re-anchor my cable to the outside wall because the idiot neighbor decided to cut down some limbs and let them fall on the cables between the pole and my house, ripping the anchor bolts out of the wall of both the cable and the old unused telephone line. Not the power line though, thank God.
I went out and told him what he had just done and he started loudly yelling a bunch of angry gibberish at me. Not a word of apology, just immediate attack. I think he must be the owner/landlord, not the tenant. At least I hadn't seen him before.

Re this article: I agree with their reasons not to buy another Kindle, but I think they're ignoring or glossing over some of the possible issues with the alternatives they mention.
For one example,
> Kobo also uses the industry-standard ePub format. This means you are not locked into one store. <
That's a little misleading. Yes, Kobo will read epubs (and some other formats), while the Kindle won't. But it doesn't work in the other direction. If you buy a book from Kobo, it won't be in the "industry-standard ePub format". Kobo uses its own modified format because of DRM. You'd have to strip the DRM before you could read it on another device.
I've noticed that posts appearing in your timeline because they contain a hashtag you follow, bypass your filters.
This doesn't seem right. The filter should take precedence over the hashtag.
Poor Ottawa, they just had a tornado the other day and today they got hit with 80 mph winds.
My area just got the edge of things, just a little t-storm as the worst, including a tornado, went by to our southeast.
Our weather guy, showing the highway cams, went off in great detail for about 5-10 minutes on why you shouldn't stop under an overpass. 😄
