Weil das die einzige Instanz ist die mich mit Spam, Phishing und Marketingposts flutet.
Aber du wilst sie auch nicht blocken weil da auch viele echte Leute sind. Aber auch enorm viele Leute deren Takes mich so sehr nerven dass ich damit nix zu tun haben will.
Aber wenn geblockt sind halt Unterhaltungen oft zerhackt.
Die einzige andere Instanz die ich bewusst als User blocke ist misskey io wegen KiPo Spam.

How about a local filter that matches new conversations on the relevant words that then puts a warning over this new contact, that users have to intentionally click on two separate things to make it go away. These things should look out of the ordinary.
Like TLS warnings but better explanation.
"This new contacts mesages look like
a phishing attack. If you are not intentionally adding a contract right now, your should block this." Or something.

I don't think the politicians were actually stupid.

Njalla is absolutely unusable shit service and their security game is a joke.

If any of these are present for a new contact, it should provoke an overlay that does not feel in-chat at all, with warning colours and warning language that needs complicated bypassing. Like making people type into a highlighted textbox in caps, "Yes, this contact really is genuine".
