mastodon 4.7.3Hello there!
My interests here are primarily low-level computer #programming and interacting with people :)
I'm working on a minimalistic computing environment. It provides a 16-instruction, 32-bit VM, a low-level language called Slang, + more. #SubSky [Details on my website.]

Instead, they often implement platform-specific APIs, with a narrow range of functionality. Mastodon, for example, implements the Mastodon API, which focuses primarily on microblogging. Threads implements the Threads API. Many other ActivityPub implementers have APIs that clone the Mastodon API, to make it easier for users to adapt third-party Mastodon clients to their platforms.
That's really cool. Thank you so much for working on stuff like this, it makes a difference (you know :)

A pretty clean keyboard layout... but having Return and Enter separate is quite interesting. Does pressing one or the other guarantee a newline in fields where pressing Return "submits"? #ClassicMacOS #retrocomputing

The Ctrl key where it belongs, I see....

Imagine lugging this to your #college class and casually taking notes in, like, a Web development class :)
This is the puzzle of the digital age. We can’t—or don’t want to—avoid creating data, but that data, once created, becomes available for legal ends. The power to track every person is the perfect tool for authoritarianism. For every wondrous story about catching a criminal, there will be a terrifying story of tracking a political enemy or suppressing dissent. Such immense power can and will be abused.
I see the point now, it just looked wrong at first. Good point.
Once you get deep into the world of logic and computer science, you wonder how existence works. When does something in a simulator program really *exist*?

Gonna give #TheAmazingDigitalCircus a try! #TV #YouTube
I hear it's a psychological horror in some ways.
I was one of those people who questioned reality when I they were young. Horrible times, but it's part of what made me who I am, and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Moving Caps lock away from its modern location and replacing it with Ctrl is always a #based move. And I like how having the function keys on the left balances out a little the usual imbalance the #numpad introduces.
As usual, I love the huge enter key (deserving!) but the tiny backspace is probably a deal-breaker.

#SmashBros for computer programmers :D
Gonna type out a combo
