not only that but *show me the freaking file* that crashed the spotlight indexing in the first place, so I can eliminate it.
I made a recursive descent spotlight indexer-with-log years ago, but that is harder to implement now.

LinkedIn has been lying for years about ‘friends who want to connect’. In the beginning I and everyone else were too lenient with their address book sharing.
I always verify before accepting a request to connect. People are often flabbergasted as they haven’t used LinkedIn for years.

In the early days of macos X there was a terminal app which emulated old green + amber terminals, complete with flickering lines and distortions. A bit like the AnalogTV app mentioned earlier.
And one of the nicest screensavers was the “melting screen”, where a snapshot of your current screen would ‘melt away’ until black.
