@alice@lgbtqia.space @catsalad@infosec.exchange as a disabled person, I was really upset when I returned to SLC after an extended absence to learn that the park bathrooms across the ENTIRE Salt Lake County Parks & Rec parks here have shut bathrooms down. 2 years later, the bathrooms remain locked everywhere.
I keep thinking of having a Piss In to make some noise about it.

@theleftistlawyer@mastodon.social it's hard for me to believe that I felt so safe beginning my transition a decade ago, compared to now- when I'm questioning how I can present with stealth for personal safety, if/when I feel the need to.
I don't know how to pretend to be anything but my highly visible, genderfuq self, but I have been trying to practice. These people have no logic to reason with, nor empathy to appeal to, and they are dangerous to society as a whole, and trans people directly.

I had an adult my age (40s) seem shocked that I had no interest in dealing with having to keep up with change in my pocket that was annoying me. ($0.17) Their response seemed to indicate that this was irresponsible behavior on my part.
I suspect they'd try to tell an 18 yo that "a penny saved is a penny earned" with a straight face, prior to explaining that daily coffee is unnecessary.
