Well my friends, I got temporarily struck down by COVID.
But while I'm down for the count, I figured some comfort gaming was in order. So I got Phantasy Star Online (via Dolphin, on my MAC!?) all configured with HD Textures, AND connected up to a private community server.
I had no idea this was STILL possible, and I'm kinda delighted.

Today at the hot spring, I recorded an OnlyFans video for former actress Kate Kelton. (I wasn’t involved in it.)
Afterward we talked about living out of cars, Star Trek, Burning Man, and the evils of modern technology.

This is admittedly very blurry and using extreme digital zoom on my phone, but I HAD to try capturing it. That ball of fire got ridiculous just as it slipped below the horizon.

It turns out that both of my camp neighbors are also living out of their car. One for 5 months, the other for TEN YEARS.

I finally found the perfect 4th of July spot. Thank you, Granite Creek, Wyoming! Zero fireworks. Zero screaming kids. Zero drunk idiots... Just peace, quiet, good air, and sleep.
A small gold rush town in Colorado was meant to be a one-night sleepover, but it turned into a launchpad for several awesome hiking adventures! I couldn't even stuff them all into one post...

How Wyoming RUINED My Yellowstone Plans

Never thought I'd say this, but I finally have a valid personal argument for buying digital versions of games over physical ones... My Switch 2 was stolen from my car, along with EVERY Switch 1 + 2 cartridge I owned.
I am not a happy camper 🥺
I don't know why someone would take ONLY that... but I'm thinking I may have accidentally left my window rolled down at the beach just enough to reach in and quickly snag it. This is a difficult and expensive lesson.

When I started pondering living the nomad life, I was concerned I'd grow to resent having so few things, and such a limited space to store them. The opposite is becoming true!

@McNeely@indieweb.social It's called a labyrinth. They're typically used as a sort of walking / guided meditation. You set your mind on something (gratitude, peace, etc) and focus on that as you go through it.
I'm honestly not sure who built it, but it was adjacent to private property near the reservoir in the photo.
I'll try to get a video published soon with a closer look at it!

Well, that's a first... one of my tent neighbors just had Starbucks door-dashed right to their spot. I think it's time to get away from civilization again, at least for a little while.

And now I'm eating hot dogs and hamburgers from their amazing grill.
Plus I just ran into an Oregon Coast Trail hiker who happily accepted the rest of the shrimp ceviche, and the family hooked him up with even more, plus chips and a soda.
This place is like this EVERY DAY. So much kindness and generosity.
My camp neighbor made me this frittata for no reason except generosity and being an awesome human. It has sheep cheese on top which I’m excited to try.
I really love the community that has started emerging here in the last few days.
