In many cases it turns to slop, in others, humans keep it within the proper parameters. We'll have to wait and see what remains after all is said and done; and it might not be FOSS after that.

What nonprofits need is an independent coalition of donors that don't hold the nonprofits' feet to the fire or subject them to political blackmail. Right now, that seems like a fantasy.
