@wettpaynt@mastodon.social @cweickhmann@qoto.org @sjvn@mastodon.social if that was an actual commercial product that, instead of being a dumb "converter", lets me use it as a pcie device while being able to reconfigure what each port does on-demand, I would want it. Having pretty much every connector out there that one might reasonably encounter in a desktop computer (or, ideally, a more mobile system like a laptop, but beggars can't be choosers, as the saying goes) would be so useful.

@codecat@meow.social I noticed that you created a modification to forgejo that implements the heatmap feature as a built-in thing, how feasible would it be for me to in theory apply a relevant patch to a personal forgejo deployment, and would you recommend doing so? / if so, should I try to set up any automatic build infra or anything? (I currently just use forgejo's Debian packages in a LXC container on my infrastructure)
