CAMPAIGNERS from Stop Rosebank, Fossil Free London, Christian Climate Action and Greenpeace demonstrated outside the Department for Energy and Net Zero today to protest against the Rosebank oil field.Protesters depicted “heaven” and “hell” futures, demanding Prime Minister Andy Burnham reject new oil and gas fields.Some wore light clothing holding “clouds” to represent a safe, liveable future, while others in dark clothing held “flames” to symbolise a burning dystopia.

I mainly use Mastodon but I am also on #BlueSky to follow & interact with people who are not here. Having said that, I am pissed that due to the #UK government age verification laws I have to prove my ID/age via a 3rd party company to use the site for direct messaging. Thank you but no. I could use a VPN to get around this but I found more elegant solutions on github.
