Chickpea and Tomato joined Soup Squad! Chickpea is such a sweetie and I hope someone adopts her. I’m not in a state to, unfortunately. I have to pretty up my home to sell in the spring. My foundation damage isn’t going to be covered by insurance, so I’m hoping that a flipper will see the potential of the property or a family could use it as a starter home or something. I just need to break even so I can buy my father’s home when he and his wife retire and hit the road in an RV. The whole thing has me crazy stressed and devastated, but it’s going to work out. It has to. Idk what I’ll do if I don’t, esp becausey physical disabilities are getting worse and my home is not single floor living, which I will most likely need within the next 5-10 years. Anywaaaaaay, Soup Squad gained members and these lil guys give me so much dopamine when I see them. I think a lot of the barn critters, some horses included, can tell I’m in a bad place mentally and are being super sweet and cute and fun on purpose to make me feel better.

Pirate Princess Eva Eugene Louise This my beautiful pirate princess Eva Eugene Louise. She lost her eye as a kitten after she and her siblings were found in trash bag. She’s three years old and is my whole soul. I just wanted to share her beauty with the internet.

I just got my first cat, Milo. This is my first cat since I lost mine over a year ago. He wouldn’t let me get enough distance to get a picture but after awhile I put him on the floor to get a picture. He is very affectionate. That is an awesome quality in a cat. He is one year old according to the humane society where I bought/adopted him from.

Geesh! Heavy metals are nearly universally present in cat food. In our testing, lead was detected in 99% of products, cadmium in 96%, and arsenic in 94%. Because they are so common, the question is not whether a product contains heavy metals, but whether it contains relatively high or low levels compared with other products. #Cat #CatsofMastodon #Caturday https://cleanlabelproject.org/cat-food-study/
