Thinking about how GenAI uses insane amounts of resources, bring servers down, and have made the economic situation worse for people who want computer components, I want to attempt wording a principle of efficiency that covers this well but am having trouble phrasing it how I want.
I would say that a system should use resources proportional to their benefit, but that seems to not be quite enough, as people value things differently. However, I think the concept of depriving people of other benefits is pretty clear.
Is it enough to say that a system should use resources proportional to their universal benefit, without depriving other systems to provide their benefits.
Are there exceptions to this?
It is your solemn duty to rip smart glasses with microphones and/or cameras off a person's face and stomp them into a fine powder.

Absolutely called it when I first heard about #meshcore. Uncooperative, antisocial, controlling, fragile ego. And yeah I’m talking about Kirby. Has no business making anything for anyone with his attitude. Good on the group for forking though. I randomly checked up on this and saw there was a blog post *today*. What a mess.
