Sadly my communication with some of the admins of the blower has stopped a few years ago but I'm hoping they still keeping the lantern lit. finally, regarding the mega nodes, I think it is/was the correct answer on principle and I'm glad I did it. BUT part of me believes it would be "healthier for the ecosystem" if we had mega nodes while just shaking our heads and feeling bad about it... sometimes you gotta stick to your ideology even when there is an easier option. (metaphor about centrists here) I'm glad to be part of the Australian fediverse with those other instances. We're all in this together. Chance to say thanks to your admin.

The solutions are mostly obvious, and some of them are complex because spam is complex but nobody has fixed the low hanging fruit. Our anti-spam solution is hoping they get bored and go away (which bad actors mostly do)
