My mom and I have had a complicated relationship most of my adult life. Things started to fall apart when I came out and then got worse leading up to and immediately following the 2024 election leading to me going no contact. We recently reconnected, had some hard and honest conversations, and we decided to go on a little weekend trip together. It was the most fun I've had with my mom since I was little and the most seen I've ever felt by her. My wife got this picture of us talking and enjoying the sunset together. I had no idea she took it until we got home and I cried when I saw it. It means the world to me. It's all been a great lesson in staying true to yourself, setting and holding to yours boundaries, and then some times things DO get better. #Trans #Queer #LGBTQ #Parents #NoContact #Sunset

pix.lgbt has been moved off of pixelfed-glitch because development there has come to a hault and we are back to vanilla Pixelfed. We now have the latest and greatest version that released this morning (plus quite a few fixes we submitted upstream for the rest of the community 🤞). We hope you enjoy! Moving back was a bit of a PITA so there was some small hiccups along the way (sorry about that!) but everything should be good going forward! If you have any issues don't hesitate to reach out! And if you're not already here and looking for a new home for your photos on the fediverse our registration is open! Tell your friends! #PixelfedAdmin #FediAdmin #Pixelfed #RegistrationsOpen

It's a great day to be a #PixelfedAdmin ! Thanks to @dansup@mastodon.social@pix.lgbt and @shlee@aus.social@pix.lgbt of the @pixelfed@mastodon.social@pix.lgbt dev team and their rapid review we are now on fully upstream releases! All of their recent work on stabilization has made this all possible and is greatly appreciated! #FediAdmin #Pixelfed #ReleaseDay

Well... didn't take long at all before being utterly disappointed with a certain someone from Pixelfed again. 😑 This violates our core beliefs here at pix.lgbt and is only furthering our concerns with the direction and future of Pixelfed. The fediverse deserves better. Thank you to @antimundo@mastodon.gamedev.place@pix.lgbt for bringing this to everyone's attention. Given this news, we are shutting down signups on pix.lgbt indefinitely to give use time to figure out how we proceed. No matter what, we love you and we won't be disappearing unexpectly. 💜🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

Date night with a wonderful view! #Autumn #Colorado #Mountains #DateNight

We got to see the Indianapolis Clowns vs the Savannah Bananas a few weeks ago and I forgot to post it. I was an absolute blast! #IndianapolisClowns #SavannahBananas #BananaBall
