I complained at work and was told it can't be turned off because we need transcripts for accessibility. Fuck.

Otherwise, no, "lying slop machine" is pretty accurate to what LLMs are built to do, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, and neither should anyone else.

You need to gauge what information a corp has for you and how likely you will be targeted by that government, and choose appropriately. If you are really concerned about your activity on the internet, you probably should be considering non-internet alternatives for those tasks as well. VPN isn't a magic cloaking device.

The users on these instances need to know, immediately, how their posts are being used -- I'm sure many would not approve of this, and they need to be able to migrate to a safer environment if these admins don't immediately stop.
