I can't help but feel like we lost as a nation here. We not only looked bad but we made it nearly impossible for this PhD recipient to feel safe staying in our country after finishing her studies.

@aud I haven't given nvidia any money since 2012 and even then it was grudgingly. Apple wouldn't sell a macbook pro with anything else. As a linux user it didn't make setup on that machine fun.

I know someone who works on software in the T. I messaged them privately. We will see if they are willing to comment either publicly or privately.
@Lydie@tech.lgbt They make a lot of variations of this microscope camera with vastly different functionality.s Mine can:
- Record at 30fps with mp4 encoding while displaying 1080 at 60fps
- Take still photos while displaying at the CCD native resolution (can't remember but it's good)
- Measure and annotate on the screen when you fix the focus and calibrate it! This is often a lifesaver if you don't have the datasheet :)
