bon, on a toujours pas la retebef sur masto, mais au moins ils s'y mettent à promouvoir (GNU) Linux pour "les gens", au point de faire un tuto d'installation video de linux Mint sur un framework laptop Oo ... 👍

yes, it works very well too for 3d printing or cnc machining, and they are free, as in "free beer" and "freedom"

It's not that complicated in the end, and you'll have them freed and gives them confidence.
on the contr., if shown a proprietary "easy(er)" solution first, how do you expect ppl to go the other way ? (and they'll be trapped and even alienated from their own work after that at some point)
blender is also a nice option really

ça sera probablement bien pire que ça : toute l'économie USA est adossée aux valeurs tech, ça va faire un effet kiscool bien sympa quand on y verra additionné les véritables effets des méthodes trumpistes sur l'économie réelle.

qq petites choses quand même : il n'est pas clair que le fediverse permet de communiquer _entre_ applications, p.ex de suivre un canal peertube ou un agenda mobilizon avec un compte mastodon. c'est aussi la grosse diff. avec le cielbleu qui est tout seul dans son coin de microblogging
et pour aller plus loin, les médias et autres corps sociaux devraient elleux même développer leur app et ne pas être toujours là en consommateur de devs les tenant à leur bon vouloir/lubies.

ben non rav : FB était utile et un truc de niche qui s'est emmerdifié, ici c'est inutile de base, poussé partout sans réfléchir et massivement surcôté en tirant le haut de la valeur des boites tech
ça peut pas bien se passer
et le coté UI est loin d'être fonctionnel justement parce que la base de la tech est hypée pour ce qu'elle n'est pas. (autocomplétion != raisonnement)
il manque le raisonnement symbolique (on y est pas)
