The number of people, myself included, who *like* the clear division between controls and content is high so I'm really surprised they still went ahead with this but 🤷♂️

I agree, *if* that was the reasoning then ideally it wouldn’t affect devices that wouldn’t support touch but Apple have had a long history of having trouble walking and chewing gum and it’s only got worse as the number of product lines increases and expands so I can’t see them wanting to support anything like an adaptive UI really. One size fits all would probably be their preference 😕

I have no idea why Karcher haven’t figured out a way to easily pack up a pressure washer. Spent ages trying to pack mine up and then it unravelled so just dumped it in the shed in the end

@tuomas_h@mastodon.social I assume this is laying the groundwork for touch screen mac's (meh). i would rather they took the approach (and maybe they will, who knows) of more of an adaptive UI based on input rather than just one (bigger) UI used for any and all types of input
