all around the world, over the course of many years, a bunch of white street and parking lights slowly turned blue/purple, when a special yellow phosphor coating that turned blue light into white gradually delaminated. nobody knew this defect would happen, it just took time. i think that’s beautiful

traveling with the family and trying the UniFi Travel Router!
it logs into hotel wifi (even captive portals) and creates a new wifi network, with the same name as ours at home. it also sets up a vpn to our home network.
result: everyone’s devices hopped on wifi, with zero setup! (and i get my NAS)

we went to a short beach called “short beach”, and i don’t know if i’ve ever been on beach that’s all rocks instead of sand
the sound the rocks made as the water retreats and the stones shift and collide sounded like soft crackling thunder to me. i was grateful to discover a new sound

this is a real apple email, used as a vehicle for a scam attempt. wild.
i think they're:
1) adding additional emails to an iCloud account,
2) changing the "Full Name" of the account to a hilarious scam string (highlighted)
3) doing a "Date of Birth" change to trigger sending the emails
ridiculous. it can’t be very effective, right? right?

@macinthrope I constantly switch between cards all the time per transaction (business/personal), so my brain sees a picture of the wrong credit card, and the name of the wrong credit card, so of course i tap on the wrong card image to choose the right card and “fix” the issue. BUT NOPE!!!
