@mattblaze@federate.social I agree that it’s a huge loss, and I appreciate your insight. You and @heidilifeldman@mastodon.social have kept me up to date and schooled on this, and I very much appreciate it. I do find the situation outrageous, and to the extent that others don’t find it outrageous I think is evidence that the plan to wear us all down and move the Overton Window is working. I try to be measured but resolute in my reactions. I apologize if I came across otherwise.

Barring any last minute bug reports or problems, I plan to push the latest changes to #LeftWordle to production tomorrow, Sat July 4, at about 16:00 UTC, noon EDT. This will make it identical to the current version hosted at https://staging.left-wordle.com I encourage EVERYONE who plays Left-Wordle to backup your settings (preferences & stats), ON CURRENT PROD, before then (instructions in thread). I have some protections built in, but this is a belt to go with my suspenders Boosts appreciated. 1/2

Just got back from an outpatient procedure, Manipulation Under Anesthesia. They put me to sleep & bent my left heel all the way to my butt cheek. Apparently I’m a “fast healer” which sounds like a good thing, but in this case, scar tissue formed quickly & established itself around my new joint. This tissue restricted my ability to flex (bend my knee). So they knock me out, bend TF out of my knee, and break up the scar tissue. Now I need to keep it bending - Intense therapy for next 2 weeks.

@robchapman I’m glad you had a 5k run. Sorry your injury regressed. I hope the new plan brings both joy and healing.
