The point is not to notice that "somebody logged into your account" e-mail in between the flood of 2000 pointless e-mails. Somebody dug out the service that is selling this attack but I can't find that post any more. @jackemled@furry.engineer

Ich will nicht wissen, was da sonst noch für Sicherheitslücken klaffen, wenn noch nicht einmal ein Bewusstsein dafür existiert. Von daher: Kein Backup, kein Mitleid. Anders natürlich, wenn fachfremde Personen und Otto Normalverbraucherin sowas passiert, die haben nicht die passende Ausbildung und sind dann gearscht, wenn sie auf die Versprechen reinfallen und die Arschkarte ziehen.

@homegrown Blocking servers running very outdated software is generally a good idea, since it's a good indicator of lack of moderation too. I have a script for that that will also automatically retract the block if the server updates its software. @AlienJay @becksther @Ostfriesin Ich pack meine Fotos ganz Old school per USB-Kabel auf meinen PC, und dann gibt es Backups für den PC. Wenn du viele Passwörter auf dem Handy hast, probiere es mal mit einem Passwort-Manager. Mir wurde Keepass + SyncThing empfohlen.
