Sigh, I know I told myself I wouldn't fall into the multi-column social media experience but Nicolium (https://nicolium.app/) is honestly what I wish I had the time to build and is pretty promising imo. Definitely worth keeping an eye on (it also has a regular-single-column mode)

@eniko @cwebber the jankiness of Bluesky as a website in the past few months after the dev team has admitted to be fully vibecoding the thing definitely makes that argument lol

I’m already thinking about how cool the “shot on iPhone” campaign with the Artemis II pictures will be so imagine THAT one.

@jonny i love the implication that you can bypass stuff if you aren’t typing in English (maybe they have similar regexes for other languages?)

Random #visionOS #tvOS / #iOSDev question... is Parallax Previewer 2 supposed to run on macOS 26? I tried running it and it just...exits right away 😶 Is it expected? Are you expected to just "preview" that stuff in Xcode's view for asset catalogues?

https://developer.apple.com/design/resources/#parallax-previewer

Boosts welcome!

@jfparis@rouge.eu.org @cwebber@social.coop some 3rd party clients support doing that too (at least Ivory that I’m using rn does), so it’s worth trying even if you don’t use the official web UI.

@cwebber@social.coop i guess that's the closest real-world equivalent we have to, like, using a Netrunner hack in Cyberpunk 2077 to tell someone to fuck off lol
