This then is a meditation on passing and stealth. I have written before on passing privilege, with the bottom line being that passing only works when your transness is repressed and unacknowledged.
I drew this card again today. It keeps coming up whenever I do a query having something to do with the woman I broke up with about 3 1/2 months ago. I saw her last night at a mutual friend's birthday. It was the first time I've seen her in person since I ended it.
It was mostly good to see her. It felt very natural to catch up and quickly became kind of intense for both of us. It got weird and dramatic towards the end of the night though. Was thinking about her when I did my morning layout.

Something that has actually really helped my dysphoria has been dating a woman who frequently tells me how pretty and hot she finds me, even with some masculine features showing through. I feel like she sees the whole picture and is attracted to me for who I am, even at a point in transition where I feel like still a work in progress.
I discovered that my fedi client has a section that lists everyone I have ever blocked.

But this body also recently turned 60. I don't discount the decades that came before living as that guy. He carried me to the point where I could find Claire. Even though he was relatively unhappy, there are a lot of joyful memories I have as him that are worth celebrating. Friendships that have stayed strong for decades, even through my transition. Some friendships that have become stronger since. He had great adventures, including helping to raise 3 beautiful daughters. That was the hardest thing I have ever done. Those daughters who have supported me and helped me through my transition, becoming like big sisters in my early days.

@crowbriarhexe @revoluciana I've had my best friend tell me I'm pretty. When it comes from her, my brain just says that she is biased and trying to be supportive. When it comes from an intimate partner it is more believable.

Sounds fussy.
This is my open source data structure that no one uses, altough none of my original code remains. It's been rewritten by better c++ engineers than me. I still have contributor credit on that package though.
