@vees Served once. An assault case where 1 woman had cut another with a box cutter in a dispute about the first's husband. The facts weren't really in dispute but prosecution was trying for a felony charge & defense trying to get complete acquittal. Both lawyers struck us as making slapdash arguments. The jury agreed pretty quickly to split the difference and convict, but only for a misdemeanor-level "lesser included charge".
