Continuing my #PersonalPlaylist, at a different dance, maybe a year later, I wound up dancing with a girl named Mia, whom I didn't know well, but who definitely seemed much cooler than I. This song came on… and kept going… and going, for 9 freaking minutes. I floundered my way through the song, feeling more awkward by the second, then beat a hasty retreat & never spoke to her again.

@TheVinylApe@cupoftea.social I liked Screaming Trees a bunch back in college. 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘐𝘧 & 𝘌𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 and 𝘉𝘶𝘻𝘻 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺 are both in Vinyl Limbo somewhere, but I think I missed this album somehow. I remember the title, but I don't think I ever owned it.

I forget who tipped me off to Tinariwen's 𝘌𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘯 (2017), but thank you! I picked up the album in my #BandcampFriday shopping spree, and it's great. The Tuareg band's 7th album continues in their "desert blues" style, but involves collaborations with Mark Lanegan & Kurt Vile, among others. Recommended!
