@darrenhartland@caneandable.social Which is why I bother. AI is brilliant for music overall. Music is about the listening and the feelings it gives the listener. Different people like different things, there will always be a place for tallented musicians because some people will remain interested in that aspect of music, but if it means there's more good music to listen to, I'm in, and it really will just get easier and easier to prompt it for exactly what you want

Whatever people say about AI music, you've done something original that nobody else has, so you haven't taken anything from any artist, and you have created something that people would listen to, and that wouldn't have been created without AI. In fact, I think lots of people hearing that would get ideas for even more covers, maybe even new songs. I'm now thinking of a Temples style version of it, for instance.

You do have so much information going on here that it would be great if you could put headings in like on IOS, either that or separate each section out into a different field so we can tab around. To get to a daily forecast currently takes ages. Mine is showing forcasts from a week ago as well, rather than starting with today, even when I select go to today. I'll be interested to see which models you've used and how accurate it turns out to be, it's not doing too badly on the iPhone.

With dance music, doing odd things to vocals has really become a big thing, and that experientation is leading to variable quality. With rock, I hate how dark most modern production is. The only band I've heard experiment lately and liked it is Temples

Well, this is catchy as anything, I love it, but if I were going to do anything to it, I'd get rid of some or all of the guitars and mids, maybe make it a bit housier, but I still love the melody and lyrics of this, and definitely not too bright this time

Basically I like most of it The only thing I'm not quite sure about for my own tastes is the bass drum sound. However, when all the reverb comes in an it gets louder, it gets that compressed sound back that I don't like at allWhile I could change my audio to make that kind of music sound good, it would ruin older music and even modern dance music, both of which I preferI would like all the reverb and so on if it didn't feel so middle rangy and fatiguing, 80s music often did that brilliantly

I'm just back from TechABreak, organised as always by TAVIP. This was the best one I've ever been to, and happily, the star of the show, I think everyone agreed, was Glide. Glidance were there, showing it off and everybody, including me, seemed to love it
