🛠 What does an end-to-end open-source stack look like for an independent hydrogeochemical monograph? Doing full-cycle research—from thermodynamic calculations to print-ready LaTeX typesetting—requires a synchronized toolkit. Here is the exact stack: 🧪 Thermodynamics & Analytics: • #PHREEQC 3.7.3 for aqueous speciation&equilibrium modeling. • #Rstats Stack: RedModRphree, ggtern, sf/terra, tidyverse (ETL). 🗺 GIS & Literature Search: • #QGIS for spatial alignment & cartography. • #Recoll for local full-text search across reference databases. 📚 Typesetting & Reproducibility: • #LaTeX2e + #TeXStudio + #JabRef for typography & #BibTeX references. • xtable for automated R-to-LaTeX data exporting. • #Debian Linux as a main engine. 💡 Takeaway: Zero proprietary software licenses needed. Complete reproducibility from raw analytical data to a print-ready PDF. 🔗 The published version of monoghraph is here: https://zenodo.org/records/20709306 #Hydrogeology #Geochemistry #LaTeX #GIS #OpenScience #DataScience #SvystunovaGully

🌳 Quantifying Calgary’s Microclimatic Imbalance: The Solid-to-Tree Ratio To evaluate the structural heat load across Calgary's communities, I calculated the ratio of high-thermal artificial surfaces to cooling tree canopy: Solid / (Park + Forest), based on my 2025 satellite land cover model (LULC v6.0). Why this ratio matters: 🔹 Thermal Stress Indicator: It measures how many square meters of heat-absorbing surfaces (asphalt, concrete, roofs, bare soil) exist for every square meter of tree canopy. 🔹 Spatial Inequality: While mature western neighborhoods maintain ratios between 1.5 and 4, eastern and peripheral zones reach values from 10 to over 50. 🔹 Evidence-Based Planning: It moves the discussion from generic averages to identifying exact spatial boundaries where microclimatic mitigation is most needed. Note: The map uses a logarithmic scale. #Calgary #YYC #DataScience #GIS #RStats #RemoteSensing #UrbanHeat #DataViz #SpatialAnalysis #MachineLearning #GreennessOfCalgary #FOSSGIS #Sentinel1 #Sentinel2

🔥 It looks like it's time to lock in the current version of the machine learning model (LULC v.6.0). Validation results on an independent test dataset (Confusion Matrix) demonstrate the excellent predictive power of the algorithm:
🔹 Overall Accuracy: 98.29% (95% CI: 98.16% – 98.41%) with a No Information Rate = 60.28% (p-value < 2.2e-16).
🔹 Cohen’s Kappa: 0.9691, confirming high classification reliability even with severe class imbalance.
The model shows a very low error rate for non-vegetated areas (Solid, Balanced Accuracy 99.72%) and water bodies (Water, 99.75%), but expectedly faces challenges at the boundaries between the Lawn (open grass) and Park (sparse trees) classes.
Currently, I am moving on to an advanced analysis of the drivers shaping Urban Heat Islands (UHI) in Calgary and preparing a publication for my website. Stay tuned for updates!

Which Calgary neighborhoods are best built to withstand summer heatwaves? 🌳☀️ To measure structural climate resilience across the city, I conducted a spatial analysis of 193 established residential communities, calculating the Solid-to-Tree Ratio—comparing bare artificial surfaces (asphalt, concrete, rooftops) directly against total tree canopy area. Here are the Top 10 most shade-rich and climate-resilient communities in Calgary: 🟢 Queens Park Village — 0.3 (Just 0.3 ha of hard surface for every 1 ha of canopy!) 🟢 Discovery Ridge — 0.5 🟢 Roxboro — 0.5 🟢 Wildwood — 0.6 🟢 Rideau Park — 0.7 🟢 Medicine Hill — 0.8 🟢 Upper Mount Royal — 0.8 🟢 Crestmont — 0.9 🟢 Elbow Park — 0.9 🟢 Shaganappi — 0.9 👇 The full interactive dataset and study are here: https://www.datastory.org.ua/calgarys-microclimatic-anatomy-what-lies-beneath-the-citys-green-appearance/ #UrbanAnalytics #GeospatialData #RemoteSensing #GIS #UrbanForestry #CityPlanning #Calgary #DataScience #Microclimate #MachineLearning #GreennessOfCalgary #RStats #FOSSGIS

🌳 Is Calgary actually as green as it looks? While open lawns (28.6% citywide) give Calgary a visual "green appearance", dry summer conditions quickly strip unirrigated grass of its cooling capacity. Meanwhile, true cooling infrastructure — dense and sparse tree canopy — accounts for only ~17%. To quantify structural heat risks, I introduced the Solid-to-Tree Ratio index across 193 residential communities: 🔹 Critical Deficit: Downtown Core (56.2) and Beltline (24.6), where hard surfaces outnumber tree canopy by tens of times. 🔹 Suburban Pressure: New communities like Redstone (23.8) and Seton (20.8) feature high-density lots with minimal mature shade. 🔹 Ecological Buffers: River valley communities like Discovery Ridge (0.5) and Wildwood (0.6), where canopy exceeds concrete. 👇 Link to the full study and interactive dataset: https://www.datastory.org.ua/calgarys-microclimatic-anatomy-what-lies-beneath-the-citys-green-appearance/ #Calgary #YYC #DataScience #GIS #RStats #RemoteSensing #UrbanHeat #DataViz #SpatialAnalysis #MachineLearning #GreennessOfCalgary #FOSSGIS #Alberta #Canada

📉 Comparing the Solid-to-Tree Ratio with the Land Surface Temperature (LST) data obtained in the previous phase of the study allows for a visual assessment of the relationship between surface sealing and summer surface heating across Calgary’s residential communities. 🔥 The plot reveals a strong pattern for the vast majority of communities: a sharp increase in temperature occurs within the ratio range of 0 to 5. The Downtown Commercial Core stands out as a distinct outlier, where low LST values are driven by deep geometric shading from high-rise buildings. Additionally, neighborhoods such as Manchester, Seton, Redstone, Beltline, and Rangeview, among a few others, slightly diverge from the main trend. 📊 Full methodology and additional charts via the link:👇 https://www.datastory.org.ua/calgarys-microclimatic-anatomy-what-lies-beneath-the-citys-green-appearance/ #Calgary #OpenData #UrbanHeat #DataScience #ClimateResilience #YYC #Geoscience #CityPlanning #RemoteSensing #RStats #MachineLearning #GreennessOfCalgary

📊 Beyond Averages: Spatial Heterogeneity in Calgary (LULC v6.0) Averages mask reality. To capture ecological stratification across Calgary's residential communities (excl. major parks/building-out and industrial zones), I combined Violin + Box Plots: 🔹 Solid (Impervious): Median ~67% (IQR 55–74%). High-thermal non-vegetated surfaces are a systemic structural feature across nearly all neighborhoods. 🔹 Park vs. Lawn (Canopy vs. Turf): Park median (~20%) doubles Lawn (~10%). A long upper tail (>50%) highlights spatial inequality in tree cover. 🔹 Forest & Water: Near 0% for 95% of communities, but sharp needles (up to 25% forest, 16% water) mark outliers with lakes or remnant woods. 💡 Takeaway: Calgary isn't homogenous—microclimatic comfort heavily depends on geographic boundaries. 🏡 Here is the data analysis for Calgary, Summer 2025. This chart shows the relationship between vegetation density (NDVI) and Land Surface Temperature (LST).

🔥 The data reveals a critical "tipping point": vegetation only starts effectively cooling the environment once it reaches a specific density threshold. Below this threshold (the left side of the curve), green spaces stay just as hot as the surrounding concrete.
Sparse or isolated trees don't act as air conditioners—they "burn" in the urban furnace right along with us.

❗ What does this mean for Calgary? Simply planting a few scattered trees isn't enough. To actually move the needle on temperature, we need dense, healthy green belts. Otherwise, it’s just a waste of water and resources.

🌳 I am finalizing a tool that allows for a rapid and accurate assessment of the green infrastructure in any Calgary community. This isn't just "green color" on a map—my algorithm recognizes the differences in the quality and structure of the urban environment.

What we can quantify right now:
🔹 Lawn (Grasses, low shrubs): Open spaces that tend to dry out and heat up quickly during summer.
🔹 Park (Sparse Canopy): Scattered groups of trees in parks and private yards.
🔹 Forest (Dense Canopy): The "lungs" of a neighborhood, characterized by closed canopies and thick undergrowth. These areas provide vital protection against urban heat.

❗ Why does this matter?
Using Inglewood as an example (see the chart), we can see that "dense forest" covers only about 5% of the area. This is a critical indicator of the territory's climate resilience.

🌎 Why 1960s Geoscience Classics Still Matter in Data Science Data without domain expertise is noise. It’s easy to get caught up in R or ML, but foundational science drives true insight. I'm revisiting N.M. Strakhov's masterpiece "Principles of Lithogenesis" (1960-62, translated 1967). Springer’s 2014 digital reprint (Google Books) proves its value. Over 60 years later, his systematic approach to sedimentary environments and geochemistry remains highly relevant. ❓ Why this matters for spatial analytics: 🔹 Ground-Truthing: You can't model watershed contamination, mine waters, or deposits via desktop sowtware alone if you ignore baseline lithological and geochemical laws. 🔹 Feature Engineering: The best domain features come from understanding physical processes—like how basins and geochemical barriers function. ❗ Tools change, but physical laws are timeless. Understanding both turns raw data into actionable insights. #Geology #Geochemistry #DataScience #SpatialAnalysis #Springer #GoogleBooks #Lithogenesis

💻 I took several completely independent datasets and "pitted" them against each other. One of the results is shown in this chart: the more "concrete" (roads, buildings, parking lots) my machine learning model identified in a community, the higher the surface temperature recorded by the thermal sensor.

🔥 The result: Data from different sources confirm one another. The difference in surface temperature between "green" and "concrete" residential areas averages 8–10°C throughout the summer. On certain days, this gap is likely even wider.

📉 This chart shows only established residential communities. If industrial zones were included, the trend would be even more dramatic. While modeling errors certainly exist, the overall physical pattern is undeniable.

A methodological audit of regional hydrogeochemical literature reveals a systemic gap. Legacy environmental assessments for the Kryvyi Rih Iron Ore Basin rely on frameworks designed for fresh water, which fail when applied to highly mineralized mine waters. Standard equilibrium algorithms are inadequate for environments with extreme ionic strength.

This limitation extends to mass transport: conventional modeling overlooks density-driven convection and gravitational settling of heavy brines, leading to inaccurate spatial migration models.

Overcoming this inertia requires a return to the fundamental laws of chemical thermodynamics and multiphase flow physics, aligning predictive models with actual environmental constraints.

One more quick byproduct of my MDEM development: a bivariate map integrating volumetric structural data (SAR) with surface temperature (LST). This approach identifies the exceptionally intensive dissipative role of volumetric vegetation structure (trees and tall shrubs). By accounting for these high-performance cooling elements, we can better understand how they supplement traditional landscaping to enhance the city's overall thermal resilience.

It is a common belief that higher elevations are naturally cooler. In pristine landscapes, this rule holds firm. But what about urban environments? Humanity moves vast amounts of matter and energy, sometimes fundamentally altering the thermodynamic parameters of our habitat. 🛰️ I correlated summer Land Surface Temperature (LST) data across Calgary’s neighborhoods with the Canadian Medium-Resolution Digital Elevation Model (MRDEM). The chart below illustrates the relationship between "Average Elevation" and "Average Surface Temperature" specifically for established residential communities. As observed, this relationship is notably weak, even though a slight cooling trend persists. Based on my data analysis, elevation above sea level is not a key factor in cooling the city. #Calgary #OpenData #UrbanHeat #DataScience #ClimateAction #YYC #GreennesOfCalgary #ClimateEquity #EnvironmentalEquity #CityPlanning #RemoteSensing #RStats #Landsat #fossgis #DigitalElevationModel

🔥 Mapping the Urban Thermal Environment: Summer 2025 Land Surface Temperature (LST) in Calgary

I am sharing the latest results of my spatial data analysis, focusing on the intra-urban thermal zones across Calgary, AB. The attached choropleth map and bar chart detail the average Land Surface Temperature. While the map shows whole city area, the bar chart made specifically for built-up residential communities. To ensure accurate and fair comparison, undeveloped greenfield areas and strictly industrial zones were filtered out.

❗ Based on the Summer 2025 satellite composite data:
🔴 The highest average LST values among residential areas were recorded in Rundle, Manchester, Marlborough, Martindale, and Castleridge.
🔵 The lowest average LST values were observed in Rideau Park, Roxboro, Discovery Ridge, Eau Claire, and Osprey Hill.

Updating the graphical materials for the new edition of the monograph on the thermodynamic modeling of processes in technogenic waters. The figures present pe-pH stability (Pourbaix) diagrams for the vanadium and zinc systems, calculated using the PHREEQC core engine. Unlike simplified "water–element" systems, these models compute the thermodynamic equilibrium of the comprehensive solution matrix, accounting for actual macrocomponent concentrations, ionic strength, and ligand competition at every point of the computational space. Utilizing multicomponent calculations allows for the analysis of physicochemical processes in real water samples, rather than simply reproducing idealized "textbook diagrams".

❗ Why "Copy-Paste" Fails in Science: Calibrating the Model for Calgary

🛰️ I’ve recently updated the land cover data for Calgary using my Proprietary MDEM Framework (Multi-dimensional Environmental Matrix).
Here’s an interesting technical challenge: the methodology that worked flawlessly on data from Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, required significant recalibration for Alberta. Spectral signatures of Canadian spruce and local soil compositions are worlds apart from Eastern European environments.

💻 I am currently refining the local training set to ensure precise differentiation between vegetation types. This level of accuracy is vital for effective urban monitoring and improving the quality of life in our communities.

🌲 The preliminary classification results already offer a fresh, data-driven perspective on the city’s structure. The work continues!

☀️ Albedo vs. Surface Temperature: Why a "Bright" City Isn't Always Cooler

❗ Key findings from the current stage of research:
🔹 Vegetation (NDVI): Based on modeling results, biomass health accounted for approximately 40% of the variance in Calgary’s temperature regime in 2025.
🔹 Albedo (Reflectance): While it is commonly assumed that high surface reflectance reduces heat absorption, satellite data (broadband shortwave albedo) reveals a far more nuanced picture.

🔥 The Seton Anomaly
The scatter plot clearly shows a wide distribution of values. The community of Seton is a particularly striking example: despite its high average albedo (likely due to light-colored soils at construction sites and new roofing materials), the area remains in a "heat zone" (classified as Warm Background in my model).

❗ Albedo plays a role, but it is not the dominant factor in Calgary’s environment.

🌿 Can trees cool #Calgary ? Summer 2025 data from 193 neighborhoods reveals a tipping point: 0.34 NDVI.
🔹 Below 0.34: Isolated trees in "concrete jungles" provide ~0 cooling ROI.
🔹 Above 0.34: Cooling "clicks in" & efficiency jumps.
Stats: Vegetation explains 40% of heat; 60% is locked in asphalt & design. Where we can't plant, we must use high-albedo materials.

🛰️ This is an RGB composite of derived metrics from Calgary satellite imagery at a 10x10m resolution. Extracting these additional urban environmental indicators significantly enhances the quality of data analysis and, consequently, the decisions based on it. Currently, one version of my Tree Canopy model has achieved 96.8% accuracy, a testament to the high precision of the methodology.

💻 I am now retraining the machine learning model to move beyond analyzing Calgary in large blocks and focus on every individual yard. This will allow us to account for not only large forest patches but also, where possible, every mature tree in the city — including those behind your fence or right under your window. These residential trees are what provide the shade, comfort, and fresh air we all enjoy. My goal is to ensure the final assessment reflects the contribution of every single tree to our environmental quality.

To distinguish between "normal" and anomalous surface temperatures in Calgary in 2025, I applied Tukey’s method. The statistical distribution shows a negative skewness (coefficient ≈−0.59). This highlights a critical phenomenon: the vast majority of the urban area is densely clustered in the warmer temperature range. In contrast, cool refuges (the rivers, reservoir, and dense parks) are statistically scarce, forming a long "tail" on the left side of the plot. In essence, Calgary’s baseline is shifted toward higher temperatures, making Urban Cool Islands a rare and vital resource. I would like to remind my readers and followers that I am currently preparing a comprehensive article based on these research results. In it, I will explore the ecological and geochemical implications of this thermal distribution. Saturday Data Dive: Mapping Calgary’s Thermal Fingerprint 🛰️📊

Spent some quality time with GEE, R and Landsat-8/9 data today.

I’ve just finished processing a Median Land Surface Temperature (LST) model for Calgary, covering the entire Summer of 2025. This isn't just a single-day snapshot—it’s a robust composite of many satellite scenes, filtered to show the true intra-urban thermal zones.

Quick Takeaways:
🔹 Surface temperature in some busines area and "heat traps" peaked at over 51.3°C.
🔹 The contrast between our "Cool Islands" and "Extreme Heat Zones" is striking.
🔹 This automated workflow in R allows for a granular look at urban climate resilience that standard reports often miss.

I’m currently finalizing a full breakdown and a community-by-community analysis.
Stay tuned—the detailed article is coming soon!

🔥 Top 10 Calgary Communities with the Highest "Shade Deficit" To measure structural heat risks, I calculated the Solid-to-Tree Ratio—the ratio of bare artificial surfaces (asphalt, concrete, roofs) to total tree canopy area. A higher ratio means more heat-retaining concrete and less natural cooling. Here are the 10 most shade-deficient residential communities in Calgary: 🔹 Downtown Commercial Core — 56.2 (56.2 ha of hard surfaces for every 1 ha of trees) 🔹 Beltline — 24.6 🔹 Redstone — 23.8 🔹 Seton — 20.8 🔹 Manchester — 17.7 🔹 Rangeview — 16.8 🔹 Symons Valley Ranch — 16.0 🔹 Lower Mount Royal — 13.9 🔹 Country Hills Village — 13.2 🔹 Martindale — 12.4 An interactive lookup table featuring area metrics and ratios for all 193 established Calgary residential communities is available via the link: https://www.datastory.org.ua/calgarys-microclimatic-anatomy-what-lies-beneath-the-citys-green-appearance/ #YYC #Calgary #CalgaryRealEstate #UrbanForestry #CityPlanning #RemoteSensing #YycLiving #GreennessOfCalgary #MachineLearning #RStats #Alberta #Canada

How hot was Calgary's neighborhood in 2025? 🛰️🌡️

I processed satellite data from last summer to see how Calgary’s communities handle the heat. It turns out that not all greenery is equal. My research shows a clear "breakpoint" where the density of vegetation actually starts to drop the surface temperature.

I’ve mapped the "Hottest" and "Coolest" communities — see where yours stands and why some "green" areas are still overheating.

⚠️ Why standard GIS routing (D8, Sink Fill) fails in complex mining regions: 300m open pits become fake "lakes", and underground river tunnels are completely ignored. To map surface drainage across central Kryvyi Rih, I built a custom DEM hydro-conditioning pipeline: 🔹 Selective sink filtering (true pits vs DEM noise) 🔹 Subsurface conduit burn-in (diversion tunnels) 🔹 Closed micro-catchment delineation Crucial for geochemical transport & geotechnical risks. 🛠️ #RStats (#terra, #Rsagacmd), #QGIS, #SAGAGIS #GIS #Hydrology #HydroEnforcement #FOSSGIS #Mining #Geospatial #KryvyiRih #DigitalTerrainAnalysis

⚙️ My latest preprint presents a thermodynamic rationale for a two-stage cascade Eutectic Freeze Crystallization (EFC) process, developed for the treatment and resource recovery of hypersaline mine water from the Svystunova Gully impoundment (published in Ukrainian). ☝️ Key highlights: 🔹 Selective phase separation: Conducting the process in two stages with inter-stage solids separation at -20.0°C provides a 2.5°C operating buffer before chloride salts begin to precipitate, ensuring clean separation of sulfate and chloride fractions. 🔹 High water recovery: The total yield of desalinated water (as pure ice) reaches 964.07 g per 1 kg of initial H2O (96.4% recovery rate). 🔹 Effluent minimization: The initial wastewater volume is reduced 62-fold, concentrating the residual components into a compact, heavy bittern. 🔗 Full preprint: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.22821616 #MineWater #WaterTreatment #Geochemistry #Thermodynamics #PHREEQC #EFC #Mining #CriticalRawMaterials #CircularEconomy #SvystunovaGully #KryvyiRihBasin #FREZCHEM

❗ While preparing a literature review for my monograph on the hydrogeochemical impact of mine waters, I discovered the unauthorized use of my original materials in articles published in 2021 and 2024. Both publications were prepared with the primary involvement of staff from the Institute of Water Problems and Land Reclamation of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine (IWPLR NAASU).

An analysis revealed facts that go beyond a simple copyright violation:
🔹 Data Falsification: Original photo metadata (date, time, GPS) was intentionally retouched to conceal their 2015 origin and authorship.
🔹 Methodological Anachronism: Using 2015 data for 2024 modeling renders results invalid by ignoring the major infrastructure overhaul launched in early 2025.
🔹 Institutional Failure: This misconduct by state academy staff signals a systemic collapse of research quality control and ethical oversight within the institutions.

🔥 Dear colleagues! I present to you the new version (0.80) of my monograph dedicated to the hydrogeochemical (thermodynamic) modeling of the contamination plume around the storage pond in the Svystunova Gully (in Ukrainian).
I have significantly expanded the theoretical and practical sections, adding a description of the hydrodynamic properties and behavior of highly mineralized plumes.

The comprehensive concept of the gradual advancement of the contamination plume and the resulting technogenic karst is now revealed.

❗ In the section 1.2 I critically analyze the methodologies and conclusions of previous studies on the technogenic water bodies of the Kryvbas and the propagation processes of contamination plumes from these sites.

Calgary experienced a very wet and rainy summer in 2025. Naturally, the city’s vegetation responded vigorously to the high moisture levels, showing lush growth compared to the scorching summer of 2024. 🌿
Among residential areas, tiny Roxboro showed the most significant "greening"! Meanwhile, the lowest "recovery" rates were observed in the city's newest communities.

Read more about my research and explore the full data here:

🛰️ 242 Million Pixels: Calgary’s Urban Heat Pulse

To model Calgary’s #UHI with precision, I processed 242,376,352 pixels from Sentinel-2 & Landsat 8/9 (Summer 2025).

Using multi-temporal composites in #RStats on #Debian, I’ve revealed the persistent link between greenery & heat. Data shows that NDVI > 0.35 triggers a sharp drop in surface temp.

This is a foundational layer for my Multi-Dimensional Environmental Matrix (#MDEM) framework for #UrbanHealth.

How reliable are dilution estimates in contaminated aquifers?

In my current monograph, I validated the dilution coefficient using two fully independent approaches:
- chloride concentrations as a conservative tracer
- solution density calculated in PHREEQC (Laliberté–Cooper model)

I then performed a robust statistical comparison of both dilution estimates (n ≈ 2000).
The result: no statistically significant difference between the two methods (Mann–Whitney test), with very close median values and negligible effect size.

❗What does this mean in practice?
It confirms that density-based calculations — often ignored in groundwater contamination studies — provide robust, independent validation of classical tracer-based approaches.
This is especially important for highly mineralized mine waters, where density-driven processes (e.g. buoyancy effects, Rayleigh–Taylor instability) can critically affect plume behavior.

Thousands of studies describe Rayleigh–Taylor instability, and most hydrogeological models acknowledge its importance in contaminant transport.

However, in studies of the Svystunova gully mine-water storage pond, I have not seen density explicitly accounted for — despite highly mineralized waters where this factor can fundamentally change plume behaviour.
By calculating solution density within the contamination halo, I demonstrated a real risk of gravity-driven sinking of the contamination plume to the base of the aquifer. This finding adds a critical dimension to impact assessment and is now documented as a standalone section in my ongoing report.

If you work with mine water, aquifers contamination, or long-term contamination modelling, this is a parameter worth revisiting.

@drdcarpenter@fosstodon.org Thanks! I’m glad it caught your eye. What surprised me the most is the scale invariance of this threshold. I initially found the ~0.34 breakpoint at the pixel level, but it remains remarkably robust even after spatial aggregation to neighborhood-level averages across 193 areas. I’m currently re-validating the calculations and checking for potential MAUP effects, but the signal seems to hold.

A slightly tongue-in-cheek AI animation of a conceptual model showing leakage of highly mineralized mine waters into a carbonate aquifer:
https://youtu.be/WDIze8QNMYs

Yes - it’s simplified. Yes - real systems are messier.
But sometimes a "clean" visual helps to communicate density-driven flow and reactive processes more intuitively than 20 pages of equations.

The animation idea emerged while working on my monograph. Draft versions are available here:
https://zenodo.org/records/16741148

Engineering humor is allowed - even in hydrogeochemistry 😁
