When they said their university is "very old", because it was established before the War of Independence, he calmly answered "The table we're sitting at is older than that; and the building we're in was built before Columbus".

He was a friend of Trump and Putin and was undermining EU from inside. Returning of EU flag to the Parliament is a symbol that the new ruling party is changing Hungary's course to pro-EU again. Whether more substantial actions will follow, remains to be seen.

Or, rather, people who make us do it, because, let's face it, it is us who do it, burning coal and petroleum and gas. One thing is almost certain: if there's a Worldcon in Poland, it's going to be in Katowice. Kraków has a nice facility that can host 15k spectators, more than enough for Hugo ceremony, but practically in the middle of nowhere; Warsaw has a similar problem plus higher prices; Poznań has PIF (the Pyrkon site) but lacks a big hall.
