I don't think i'm overstating it to say the reason you're seeing the bullshittery about ADHD on British TV is the natural side effect of our failing to stop the apalling treatment of non white people and refugees, then not putting the anti trans bullshit in the ground hard and fast.
It's getting lonely around here.
Fight back harder or this is going to get us all before it's done.
And don't you dare quote 'First they came for the...' at me because that guy didn't notice the Nazi's had already destroyed LGBT rights before pen hit paper.
Bury your MP in email, messages and letters. Make their lives as miserable as they are making others. They work for us and never let them forget it.
I remember a poll once that asked 'do you think of yourself as a robot?'
I understood it was a fun 'you might be autistic' type questiion because i had seen similar before and recognised some of the pixels.
I couldn't answer it.
It hadn't said *when*
Walking with purpose i'm a timberwolf mech. My legs go in the direction i'm moving, my torso rotates to track the objective, i don't rotate at my neck.
Driving, i'm a transformer chosing not to stomp traffic today - maybe Prowl, maybe Miirage depending on how much i'd rather be elsewhere.
Coding, i'm a brain in a mainframe.
Manipulating stuff, i'm the robot arm you plugged into the bbc micro at school but with a worn actuator.
Around people i'm a battered C3 protocol droid having a hard time of it.
I explained this to my wife who said it's remarkable how good my protocol droid is that i'm only getting diagnosed at 45.
What robots are you?

Orbital by Samantha Harvey
It's set over the 16 orbital day and night cycles the International Space Station traverses in a single day.
It's a Booker Prize winner, so I think we can say I don't get Literature.
It's effectively a Slice Of Life novella over a time period too small for anything of note to happen. They observe a typhoon building, someone gets news, someone has a worry, but there is not time for any of this to develop in any meaningful way.
It has a pretty poetic cant to it, which goes some way to hide a lot of the time the author is listing things they have researched about the ISS but has literally no time to explore.
Not for me. I think the conceit would have been handled better by a genre fiction author.

What's the mean average number of gods/spirits/spiritual entities across documented religion?
Every belief system you try to discount makes you racist or colonialist or both. Keep going.
I think the mean comes out high enough to discount most mainstream religions out of hand and the range is high enough to make any one particular choice statisticslly insignifficant.
So in conclusion it's too early to choose. Lets give it anotger 35000 years
There is little as credulous and as a dumb as the reporting in the BBC 24 Tech News Section
