Die Währungsunion war die bösartigste wirtschaftspolitische Entscheidung der CDU und das ist ne hohe Latte. Und so viele Statistiken zeigen, wie sehr der Osten immer noch auf Bundesebene abgehängt ist. Das ist nichts gegen Demokratie als Konzept. Es ist Bundesrepublik, die keine wirkliche Einheit realisieren konnte.

Omg so much yes to what @daniel_bohrer wrote. You should even if you know it's a drill actually still leave the building because that's the point of a drill. The only situation where that's clearly not necessary is: they are inspecting the fire alarm system itself. But that would be communicated very clearly in advance. @Matt_999 @tagir_valeev

If I have to pay a company that donates to fascists for replacement parts, my @frameworkcomputer@fosstodon.org is not a lot more repairable than a mac. Edit: oof the irony. apparently hyperland contributers believe in great replacement. Well that is not the kind of replacement I associated with framework until now.

@fasterandworse about that good faith thing. You underestimate how incredibly wrong even very serious people can be so I don't know if this passes my personal threshold of bad faith yet. But my mastodon community is very much biased against AI and I like that but it also has me somewhat concerned about the quality of information I'm getting here.

@scy@chaos.social i want to give you a cookie and a bonk. "CN: nsfw" and nothing else is pretty useless as it's a generalisation. Yes, you should >generally< be more specific with content notes. However as a generalisation, it's a good one in my opinion. Because in my opinion it pretty much means: this is nothing I'd share with a co-worker that is paid to spend time with me, but i might share it with a friend because they voluntarily spend time with me and we know each others quirks and boundaries.

@ExcelAnalytics for context: this is a big scandal in the German parliament as well. In a somewhat bitter irony, it seems to have impacted many politicians that are trying to put a sledgehammer to signals security by forcing it to break end to end encryption.

@scy@chaos.social btw I do find that very non-specific content notes do have an advantage: some content notes are so disturbing in and if itself that most people would want to read up on it anyway just to know the specifics. I'll give an example in reply. So purposefully putting something vague like "content note: alles" or "awful shit" can in rate instances be a good thing. But as I'm writing this i also realise; because it has such a sexual connotation, i think it's not very useful for this.

@danirabbit when someone is being dismissive, assuming good faith can be very difficult. And not being dismissive is the other half of the equation and you should do that for users that take the time to file issue reports, because they're usually also trying to help.

Having a good laugh can reduce stress and being reminded to think more critical about, what you read on the internet is a good thing I'd argue.

Ob das daran liegt, dass man im Alter weniger offen für neues ist oder sich die Leute noch an damals erinnern können, kannst du dir aussuchen. Und wenn du schon den originellen Witz machen musst, dass Rentner in Dresden dumm und Nazis sind, solltest du wenigstens wissen, an welchem Wochentag pegida ist.
