Am I?

RE: https://mas.to/@thecontinent/117054906316844252 As usual a very interesting edition of "The Continent". Do yourself a favour and read the article about the Ceuta situation, to get another angle. And while you are at it, read the rest too and follow @thecontinent@mas.to to broaden your horizons.

I really like this game. It runs really well on Linux. It really is a callback to Super Mario bros. 3, including the difficulty level, only here you can actually keep banging your head at that one diffcult level until you get it. @eniko@mastodon.gamedev.place

@Natanox@chaos.social I'm not even sure that's reading between the lines. It seems pretty clear from reading it that that is the intent. @lunarloony@dosgame.club @jacqueline@chaos.social

@davidrevoy Just a note: Fedilab shows the four separate ones just fine here. I can read each panel and not have to pinch. Please keep the four separate panels here 🥺 Also having the alt text split up and fitting the image it describes makes a lot of sense to me (not visually impaired tho) @gunchleoc

@cppnow #Alt4You a screenshot of the beginning of the schedule showing the introduction, the keynote and the three first sessions, all coloured in different colours. The schedule shows three tracks. @mattgodbolt @foonathan @Sdowney @mhoemmen

@alexhaydock@infosec.exchange I could see the fun in using 1969-12-31 just to see who handles dates properly. @skaverat@skaverat.net

@gareth OMG modem mode! 🤣

@Vivaldi@social.vivaldi.net Sigh, it seems like I'm back where I started. I used the Opera browser for years when first coming to Linux. I just managed to pay to remove the nag banner before It went free 😁 Then when it became just another chrome clone I switched to #Firefox, but given the latest "We heard you and we don't give a shit; here's some more AI" it seems I'll be giving #Vivaldi a try. I have also been switching to #LibreWolf. Let's do a real A-B test 😀

@papiris@hachyderm.io In Denmark if you do anything other than apply for jobs when on kontanthjælp they will deduct you. The law is made for making your chances as small as possible for being of use to society. This even applies if doing it would increase your chances of getting a job. @webvision@mastodon.social @4censord@unfug.social

@edison23@witter.cz take a look at https://e.foundation ;at least mine works with my bank. @be4foss@floss.social @kde

@vitaut #Alt4You A car with a camera mounted on the roof is being pulled over by the police. The police car also has a camera mounted on the roof. The police officer asks the driver: "Does your car have any idea why my car pulled it over?"

@Luanti Nice writeup. Now only one question remains: how do I buy a t-shirt?

@2something No, code generated by a computer programme is not a work of art by a human and as such not eligible for any copyright, including any licence @nixCraft

@homeassistant is there a hotdog stand colour scheme as well?

@gnutools

This release is available from the WWW and FTP servers listed here: https://sourceware.org/pub/gcc/releases/gcc-16.1.0/ https://gcc.gnu.org/mirrors.html

this really is the world of tomorrow 😂

@kicad Yay! The "jump over wires" will make it so much easier to help beginners with schematics (and I'm sure also save the ass of a few not-so-beginners 😆). Can't wait to get home and try it out!

@DanielaKEngert@hachyderm.io hmm, maybe there is a use for llm's then 🤔 @JSAMcFarlane@mastodon.ie @vitaut@mastodon.social @meetingcpp@mastodon.online

@fabio@manganiello.eu Funny I was just looking at #FossWallet just before seeing this post. Didn't try it, but nice to see there are #FOSS solutions https://f-droid.org/packages/nz.eloque.foss_wallet

@thephd@pony.social Submitting to GCC is totally the right time since they just forked off 16.1 Now the floodgates are open and ready to take in anything 😂

@angelthorns@social.treehouse.systems The best of luck with your job hunt. Just FYI: 40 metres commute is not very much 😉

@gcheseaux@social.vivaldi.net go to the page -> choose "system requirements" :

2 GHz dual-core processor or better

6 GB system memory 25 GB of free hard drive space Either a USB port or a DVD drive for the installer media Internet access is helpful

@nixCraft@mastodon.social

@luna@tech.lgbt This made me laugh so hard!

@MostlyHarmless@thecanadian.social #Alt4You a post by "Frank Furtschool" reading: you ever think about the fact that wikipedia built the modern library of alexandria using nothing but nerds' need to correct each other The first comment is to correct with: "nerd's" (note from the nerd editor: nerd's is an abbreviation of "nerd is" which is not correct)
