Today, after a bunch of learning, I started my migration from borgbackup to restic.
Some of today involved literally moving paperwork around. Most of the pile was old record keeping; now sorted and destined for the shredder.
I was amused to discover proof that I was grossly underpaid for some promotional work by a well known circus.
It did look impressive on my cv, and turned out to be a metric ton of fun.
Current me is adding the proof to the scrapbook for that reason, and past me can have their mind blown by the client name.

First of May is something of a clown holiday. It was traditionally was the start of circus contracts for the year.
As a result, it was also used as a way to describe inexperienced clown, similar to how we say "newbie" today.
I'm happy to always be a First of May, a complete newb, or anything else that keeps my cynicism at bay.
