St. Peter upon Cornhill: Accidentally found this quiet little place in the middle of the City of London. Surrounded by glass skyscrapers, this graveyard plus church is believed to go back to early medieval or even Roman(!) times. Rebuilt in 1681 after the Great Fire and still here.
Another misericord carving from 1480 in the Oude Kerk Amsterdam shows a face with three eyes and two noses, referencing the old Dutch saying "two fools under one hood" (stupidity loves company) . Supposed to be funny, on the creepy side of funny I'd argue.
In Cornwall. (False) factoid for the linguistics nerds: This old cemetary close to the fishing village Mousehole (pronounced Mowzel, *not* Mouse-hole!) holds the last fluent native speaker of Cornish, Dolly Pentreath, who died in 1777. Apparently there have been others who spoke it after her, but none were as good.
Luis seems to approve of my new game: Stray.
Oscar Wilde's grave at Père-Lachaise cemetary today - much of it behind safety glass nowadays.
edit: The glass was put up in 2011 not because of homophobic slurs, but because so many people kissed it that the lipstick damaged the stone...:)
Oude Kerk ("Old Church")in Amsterdam: A pew carving from around 1500 depicting a person shitting gold. Lesson here: Every age had their Elon Musk(s).
I love travelling in Cornwall by bus - roads are ancient and tiny, so all that fits in there is exactly that: 1 bus! Other cars and particularly SUVs barely squeeeze past and get scratched up in the process. The difference is stark if one has lived in California and Germany with its big roads.

Fun fact: The Beagle Boys are in Italian "La Banda Bassotti".
This game is a bit like Mastermind for cats...
