@lina@vt.social I'm mostly just waiting for you to cobble together a rigging software I believe in you 🙏🏼 Like the intro to avatar the last Airbender "I believe Lina can build an open source 2D rigging tool" *intro music outro*

@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org imagine the house walks far way without them noticing and coming outside after the nap and be in a new zip code 😂 Or the house just moves ever so slightly, half a meter to a meter to either direction, or rotate ever so slightly Probably drive people mad trying to figure it out 😂

@sylvia_ritter yoo-hoo! I love the colors of it!! 😍🤩

@bitbraindev@mastodon.gamedev.place some of the most terrifying games on the planets are: Outlast: limited vision for both you and hostiles. Can't attack, only run and hide Alien isolation: can't kill the alien, only hide or temporarily chase it off. Fucking thing has two brain. One that knows where you are, and one that doesn't. Alan wake: a master piece in settings the atmosphere of the game with using jump scares and plenty of ways to fight back. Highly recommend testing it out and it's often on sales 👍🏼

@AcroCatabro@mastodon.gamedev.place oh my Lord 👀❤️

@Wolthera marking February 2026 on my calendar! Been looking forward to 5.3 for about a year now so it's highly anticipated! Thanks for all the work you have done on it! ❤️

@halla@fosstodon.org @simulo@hci.social @Krita@mastodon.art @begasus@mastodon-belgium.be @haiku@mastodon.xyz krita 6.0?? The hell? Tell me more about it because I can't find anything about it online!

@lina@vt.social holy shit I'm sorry you had to go through all that 😢 lawyer up tbh I hope you will get the peace you deserve And from the screenshots, you weren't at fault at all.

@lina@vt.social yo, I support you when it comes to that decision as well in not using inochi2D 👍🏼

@LucieLescuyer that's pretty fucking good imo 👍🏼

@bitbraindev@mastodon.gamedev.place the joy of finding a light post in Alan Wake, only for the light bulb to burst can't be described. And when you finally get under a light and can breathe for a second, you don't wanna leave it. You also find notes that tells you what is about to happen, which arguably is worse than not knowing 😂 Just overall great psychological horror and anxiety but not too much either. Truly a master piece in that regard

@bitbraindev@mastodon.gamedev.place oh, and the reason why people finds clowns to be scary is because they break the norm. Big shoes, big red nose and act weird. It's the same way comedy works but just the other way around. I like the psychological part of horror and how it works :) Hit me up if you want to talk more about spooky unsettling things that might work for your game ☺️👍🏼

@bitbraindev I just read the video title and knew exactly what clip it was 😂

@dansup @pixelfed damn that's right! When are we getting dark mode?

@pixelfed @dansup I'm so happy! 😭

@lina understandable 👍🏼 If it doesn't give you joy anymore, then it's probably time to step back for a bit

@alternativeto I can't even believe it... A new low for microslop... Only good news is that no one in their right mind uses Edge 😂

@halla@fosstodon.org @simulo@hci.social @Krita@mastodon.art @begasus@mastodon-belgium.be @haiku@mastodon.xyz oooooooooh! I see!

@davidrevoy@framapiaf.org Thanks David ❤️

@bitbraindev@mastodon.gamedev.place spotting something moving as you turn a corner. Coming back to a safe room but things aren't where they used to be. Just the very idea that there is something else, unknown thing out there together with you, is terrifying. Even those it doesn't really exist The unknown is what scariest. The unexplainable. The moment it is explained it stops being scary. Ghosts, darkness, monsters. Scary. The start of horror movies are often the scariest for that reason.
