Berlin impose le format ODF à toute son administration. Le format propriétaire de Microsoft disparaît de la liste officielle. Ce n'est pas un détail technique : c'est une décision politique qui pourrait faire basculer toute l'Europe.

Are there fellow #Browncoats here on the (Fedi)Verse?
#NathanFillion and the rest of the cast from #Firefly / #Serenity made the announcement that the series is coming back after 25 years, in animation form!

Round 2 of the Picture of the year contest on #wikimediacommons : https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2025/Gallery/Finalists
Vote for your five favorite pictures!
My suggession (same as every year): save your fav pics on a folder on your computer (you can check the first round pictures as well) and use set your wallpaper to run a random image from this folder → if you are on Linux you can use Variety to do this.

@pathunstrom I would definitely include a VPS, considering you're the one doing both the hosted software and the server OS maintenance work.

@tfardet@fediscience.org @feliks@chaos.social I would have said "Kazuma Kiryu" instead of "A person" as well as it's clearly him, although I don't understand why.

Also, that part made me laugh:
It's also unclear which books they're actually mad at. They list "Firefly Vol 1" and "Firefly Vol 2", but we did multiple arcs with multiple volumes, so "Vol 1" and "Vol 2" could refer to several different story arcs. (Welcome to comics, censors! Correct titles are important!)
It could have been written by @harmonia_amanda@eldritch.cafe :P

In an unrelated, but quasi-simultaneous #Firefly-related news, Alberta's ministry of education banned 160 books, including two Firefly comics, from schools.

@unikitty@kolektiva.social @misty@digipres.club yup, my first idea reading this was that a standard template, maybe with a form allowing to swap between a few different options for each section, would be infinitely better than asking ChatGPT to produce it (and then pushing it to employees without even a review by an actual lawyer)

@neatchee@urusai.social @rustyshelf@mastodon.social a fine amounting to 10% of Apple's annual worldwide revenue (the first time, 20% the second) is enough teeth to give any company a pause.
And Apple execs may be screeching and fuming, they have altered their TOS to comply.
