@jwildeboer I'd call that "pre-framework" ;-) The good old times, when putting a w3c validator button to the end of the page was a thing - because each small change done (with vi, directly on the web server) might break the correctness of the html ... BTW, still existing: https://validator.w3.org/

@gereonas @tazgetroete Spannend. Manche Wahrscheinlichkeiten wirken auf den ersten Blick eben deutlich höher, wenn man sich nicht so genau damit auseinander setzt wie man die Zahlen vernünftigerweise interpretiert.

@fluepke@chaos.social Zustimmung zum allgemeinen Vibes des Threads. Aber ganz ehrlich: Drucker waren schon immer sehr zickig, konnten längst nicht immer Postscript und hatten manchmal sehr spezielle Bedürfnisse und Ärgernisse beim Betrieb und Wechsel von Verbrauchsmaterial.

@nielso@digitalcourage.social ... musst halt - so wie die NASA - eine größere Antenne verwenden. Und vielleicht damit klarkommen, dass die Kommunikations-Bandbreite nicht sehr hoch ist ... (Ja, ist nervig dass das Mobilfunknetz immer noch ein Netz ist und keine Fläche.)

(I once wire wrapped telecommunication cabling to special plugs, these plugs were coated with gold at the contacts. Because gold doesn't corrode. Effect: You have a more reliable contact. Not an Effect: Better sound quality)
