Today's #run couldn't be complete without a glycogen resupply break, at a large patch of wild #blackberries on a forest clearing. Being too hasty, I got pricked by one of the thorns while picking the berries, but it was worth it. :) The air temperature was great, the forest is still cooled down from recent rainstorms, so the run was 👌. #running #trailrun #SnackSaturday

Awesome #trailrun today, through a rain-soaked forest. It's been raining for an entire day, after several weeks of total drought, so it was about time.

The smell in the air was wonderful, and I'm half-deaf from all the birds singing. :)

It is very abstract and handwavey, nothing specific or actionable. Maybe it's meant to be a stepping stone towards something actually real?
As a result of previous point, there is nothing a sane person could object to. It's basically "make everything safer". USA truly is being an asshole here.

We found an unmanned #banana stand on the side of a somewhat hidden walkway along coastal cliffs and tiny, almost vertical banana plantations.

We left one euro and walked away with four tasty yellow treats. :)

Makes me want to give up on the idea of a run, and just crawl back to bed. Kudos to you for powering through it, and good luck with the knee!

@ruthpozuelo I don't know. Maybe running at a slower pace, so that the body can afford to send more blood to the stomach area? Frankly, I did not research this too well, it's just something I learned to live with, since I do not go to such long runs too often, so it doesn't bother me too much. So take what I wrote with a grain of salt.

@ruthpozuelo If your body is prone to stomach cramps, or maybe just doesn't pump enough blood to the digestive system during a longer run, your stomach can "shrink" for a few hours after, making it difficult to get some food in. I often have this problem after marathons or longer, especially in summer. And yes, in days following a longer run, I too eat anything and everything. :)

First #longrun after last weekend's #marathon, and also my first #trailrun since maybe January, since I was running only flat routes while preparing for the marathon. I missed the trails a lot! :)

I couldn't have picked a better day - sunny, clear skies, with just enough fresh wind to keep me cool. 😎

On my way, I saw a small herd of #goats having a siesta in the tree shadow, without a single care in the world. :)
