@mig@mastodon.1984.cz mám to úplně stejně. pořád čtu úplně protichůdné informace o tom co ai vlastně zvládne a jak je reálně užitečná, ale je mi to tak trochu jedno. ať už je to reálně produktivnější nebo ne, tak mě to prostě nebaví. studuju IT a vždycky jsem myslel, že to bude i moje práce, ale teď to vidím spíš na koníček - pro zábavu si něco "neefektivně" programovat ručně, a živit se něčím jiným. možná kyberbezbečnost, tam je ještě ten aspekt, že ai využívají i útočníci. a jestli má útočník i obránce k dispozici stejné ai, tak by lidé pořád mohli být rozhodující faktor.

@Setok @holothuroid I think you should read this thread from one of the best YouTubers I know, who also almost quit fedi because of "v;dw" people: https://mas.to/@TechConnectify/113007851768929530 If you for some reason don't want to watch a video that somebody put effort in, and somebody else shared that work with you instead of rewriting it as text, you might just not watch it. Don't have to announce it to everybody.

@pathunstrom (this was just boosted and that's why i'm responding) i'm neurodivergent and vaguely defined rules are kinda uncomfortable for me. i'm pretty sure they are much more uncomfortable for some more autistic people. while i believe i understand what fascism is quite well - and am deeply antifascist - i wouldn't immediately assume someone is an apologist just for asking. definitely a sign to be suspicious tho.

@Setok @holothuroid if it's a bad video created only for views and money (which I kinda doubt would be shared online to help you but ok), then you should at least say it's a bad video, instead of saying you didn't watch it just because it is a video. Most people who comment things like that don't watch the video, and thus can't say if it's bad or no. The recent TechnologyConnections drama on Mastodon shows exactly how bad it is for his mental health when he puts extreme amount of effort into a video, and then when it's linked by someone people start commenting how they are not going to watch it 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝘁‘𝘀 𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼. Also I don't think anybody is forcing you to watch a video.
