@sxa@fosstodon.org our github Entra auth is worse as it's about half an hour. Security have not found any control to tune it so we're just having to click through twice an hour. The worst is native apps that decide to log you out every two weeks. Frankly PayPal is one of the stupidest as I have biometrics enabled so there's no reason not to have a much longer auth token!

@ulid000 @mikarv I had the same argument with my team when they tried to limit passwords to similarly ascii-only characters and not some special chars. I told them in no uncertain terms, if the user can enter it, it is valid for a password, we don't get to decide what languages are acceptable

@drajt@fosstodon.org @jasoncoon@leds.social standard Firefox on android supports ad blockers. Firefox focusbis minimalistic, it has limited tabs, no history and clears all cookies often. That plus a resilience to fingerprinting makes it a great daily default

@InTheseHeels@mastodon.ie I'd have assumed you'll be in a gown anyway for a CT scan, but that's just a guess. Did they provide any instructions? Mine was for bladder so had a contrast dye injection, not sure if that necessitated a gown or if it was to avoid thicker waist bands. Never even occurred to me that there might be an option to avoid a gown.. Good luck!

@sxa@fosstodon.org I found I had to login a lot recently for work accounts. Turns out some pages were going via ipv6 and some ipv4 and Entra was flagging that a suspicious 🤦‍♂️

@sxa@fosstodon.org oh that's probably just an auth timeout setting in either piece of software. Sometimes your admin can control it if it's enterprise.
