If Apple’s forthcoming Neuromancer TV show doesn’t start with a voiceover saying “The sky above the port was the colour of television, tuned to a dead channel” there’s going to be riots.
First “oh that’s neat” experience with onscreen contextual awareness with SiriAI.
Wife texted (see attached) asking if we had something (we didn’t) and I just said “Siri, add that to the shopping list” and it worked out what “that” was from what was onscreen and pop it into the shared list in reminders.
Groundbreaking? Probably not, but cool to see what a more natural human/computer interface looks like.
Moved cocktail night. Amaretto Sour and Boston Sour.
New Siri still needs a little work.

@richardtroupe@mastodon.ie yeah, seems to work better in the app than on the web for some weird reason, and not sure it’s any book, but you just say you want to collect, pick the shop, and that’s it. No card details, nothing. They send a confirmation email, another when it’s ready, and you pay when collecting.
Feels positively quaint.
