How do you hire the little fellow who whispers "memento mori" in your ear so you don't get an ego? Is that like a thing you sort out through a service or is there an app?
My oldest paid for gas today for the first time ever. Watching the mounting panic in their eyes as the meter ticked up to $40, $50, $60... We got into the car to drive away and they started yelling "Why are we even doing this? Why not just take the bus? This is so stupid!

I'm so sorry, I don't have the time to do [critical work thing] because I'm dedicating all my resources to [mandated AI thing], which they assure me will free up my time for [critical work thing] once it's functional. Eventually.
My wife has a special gland that excretes a unique hormone into her bloodstream, causing her to think of things she needs me to do immediately. This gland is activated any time I walk into a restroom.

We went through a similar conversation, albeit without your excellent framework, when designing the code of conduct. I wish I'd had this post then! Thank you for sharing it.
