@Richard_Littler@mastodon.social Yeah. And when retouching old photos, I think it's best ot use Gimp to remove some small degree of defects so the human mind can understand the photo without distraction.
Beyond that it's better to leave most all imperfections.
It's an art- knowing when to stop so as to leave the photo truly authentic, evoking only the original image.
