The death throes of GenAI really are something to behold.
The abject desperation to find something, anything it can do better than real humans.
Something they can claim makes it all worthwhile - just convincing enough to fool the investors for a few more months, eke out the bubble a bit longer.
"Maybe if we can last a couple more years we'll make AGI", as they buy their bunkers and move their money places the bubble burst won't hit.
That is generally what happens when I have my morning coffee but I don't think I need a machine to do it for me.

I've been having too much caffeine lately. I've reached the tipping point where you go from being perked up to just being a bit less tired. Need to take a break, lower my resistance, just survive a few days in extreme fatigue... but too busy...
I am grateful for nearly all the things HRT has given me, even most of the negative period symptoms kind of have an up side*, but the 3 day headaches can fuck right off.

(*Hip aches and boob tenderness mean I'm getting growth spurts yay! Grumpiness, yes, but it comes with weirdly high self esteem: "the world should do what I want and I'm angry it doesn't". Stomach cramps suck but I swear my abs get firmer.)
The words "brilliant news" followed by "the UK's Labour Government" made me assume this was sarcastic and I spent way too long trying to figure out why this was a bad idea.
